Measure
LENGTH: Measure the longest side of the equipment to be shipped.
WIDTH
HEIGHT
ADD four inches to each of these dimensions. This will give room for two inches of foam padding on all sides of your equipment.
All our cases are listed with INSIDE dimensions. So a case measuring 24" x 24" x 24" would be the perfect size for a piece of equipment with actual dimensions of 20" x 20" x 20".
If your equipment is irregular in size, measure at the largest points.
If your new case will be used to ship more than one item, allow one to two inches in between each item for foam padding.
Add in space for accessories. Many of our customers select a case larger than the minimum, and create a foam lined cavity for accessories and other equipment. Leave one to two inches between the accessory cavity and your equipment for padding.

Wheels and Handles
Many of our larger cases either come with wheels and telescoping handles or optional casters.
Foam
Foam Filled, foam lined or empty. Most cases are available with foam lining. The Pelican Cases and most of the SKB and Platt cases come with Pick N Pluck or Cubed foam.
Lids Organizers and Dividers
Many cases have optional accessories like dividers, lift-out organizer trays, lid accessory pockets and the like. These are sometimes designed for specific applications such as photography. Check the individual case or contact us for more information.
Security, Toughness and Warranties
Some cases are watertight, dust-tight and almost indestructible. Some have lifetime warranties. Some have combination locks or security hasps for padlocks. EVERY case we sell is a quality case that is overdesigned for your needs. Check the individual case information for specific details.
ATA Compatible
